Chasm is a Metroidvania–meets-procedurally-generated-map action/platformer, and one thing that’s not random is its release date – the game is coming out on July 31 (PS4, Vita, PC).

The game follows the style of Castlevania, etc. where players need to find certain power-ups to open up new areas of the map. The procedurally generated aspect comes into play each time you start a new campaign. A map is then designed with an overall flow in mind, keeping things fresh while still preserving the game’s core principles and flow.
